es un timo, de los muchos que hay por alli, entras, pides una copa, pides la cuenta 10 veces y se arma un revuelo de la ostia, vienen los mazas , las putas, y los encargados, total 50 euros, por una copa. ah! y ademas me queria cobrar una de mas. Los taxistas, lo saben te llevan ahi y les dan comision.

At the end of the day Budapest is a wonderfully nice and exciting place, but I did have a bad experience with one of the nightclubs. I had a room in the Sofitel and I went down to the lobby to have the guy call me the free car service of a club that I saw in a magazine called where. The service is provided by Royal Palace Club, where the entrance is free and you can drink all you can for 20 Euros. Fortunately previously I had spoken to the staff of the club who warned me not to let in the hotel employees on my plan because they will want to talk me out of it and have me go to a club where I’ll get tricked. I was stupid enough not believe that and since I had a pretty good relationship with one of the bellboys, I gave him the mag with some change asking him to call the car. As I later found out, he subsequently went on to neglect what I asked and called the taxi of the hotel, not the car of the club, and since I don’t know the place at all, they took me to a completely different club outside the city, to a bar called Royal Delight. Fortunately the ad from Where magazine was with me and I immediately figured out that I wasn’t taken to Royal Palace, where I wanted to go. They seem to try to bank on the similarity between the names of the two clubs and guests who don’t pay enough attention will be brought to this second club. Of course I refused to get out of the car and I told the driver that if he wanted to mess with me I would call the manager of the hotel immediately to make a complaint. After which he didn’t say a word and took me to Royal Palace for free. There the lady who runs the place confirmed my suspicions and told me that hotel employees did indeed take advantage of the similarity between the two names, but that of the two clubs only Royal Palace is honest and safe. She also said how upset they were because many of their clients get hijacked this way, but what’s worse these may never found out they didn’t actually go to Royal Palace and may give the club a bad reputation afterwards. So everybody be very careful and attentive and don’t let yourself be fooled into being taken to Royal Delight instead of Royal Palace, because the two places are not the least like each other.

We got ripped off by these bastards… The ad says free entry but then they made us pay a fortune for the first drink.

I don’t get why and for whom such piss poor places exist. it’s far, the girls are fugly, there isn’t one positive thing I could mention.

Took a half hour long journey to the suburbs and I didn’t like it at all. I only saw a couple of girls so I left but I took ages to get back to the centre
